SIGHTSEEING
THE PALACE OF PARLIAMENT
The Palace of the Parliament, ordered to be built by former president Nicolae Ceausescu,
was raised between 1984 and 1989. It is the biggest administrative building in Europe
and the second building in the world, after the Pentagon. The palace has 6000 rooms:
hundreds of offices, tens of huge reception and ball halls and many conference
halls (maximum capacity- Al. I Cuza Hall – 1200 places). On the second
floor there are two monumental halls (150 m. long, 18 m. high), as well as other
480 impressive rooms. The best quality marble or the huge chandeliers make the palace
look very impressive and luxurious, a perfect symbol standing for the despotism
and craziness of the man that had it built.
THE MOST ORIGINAL TEAMBUILDING
TREASURE HUNT CONCEPT –
SEARCHING FOR THE PRINCE DRACULA
The
teams will search for the parts of a knight armor, which will be completed at Snagov
Monastery, the place where its said Dracula was berried. The team that will find
the vampire cape will be the winner.
The hunt will take place in three different places:
Step 1 The Old Court of The Prince Dracula, in the historical part of Bucharest.
The teams will wear costumes from middle age, and each team will have her own coat
of arms. Among the ruins of the Old Court , the teams will find written signs on
old paper, sealed in wax like in old times, that will lead them to the antiques
shops in the area, where first parts of the armour will be hidden.
Step 2 The Mogosoaia Palace near Bucharest
Lunch. The teams are transferred into a forest surrounding an old palace, where
the last parts of the armour are hidden. From here, they will travel in time with
the Orient Express train, which will lead them to Snagov, the final step of the
hunt.
Step 3 The Snagov Monastery, the place where Dracula was buried
The teams will assemble the knight armour. Transfer back to Bucharest.
