model and now designer has his private ‘entrées’ into the world of fashion and

INDIA
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation and Cox and Kings
India have signed a joint venture to set up Royale Indian Rail Tours Ltd; and
they proudly give you their creation - the Maharajas' Express.
The Maharajas’ Express has begun
its journey. India’s
Railway Minister - Ms Mamata Banerjee
flagged off the train on March 20th in Calcutta.
The luxury train has a total of 23 coaches with a passenger capacity of 84.
It is the first luxury train that boasts of four distinct configurations. It
has five Deluxe cars, each with four cabins; six Junior Suite cars with three
cabins; two Suite cars with two cabins each; and finally the Presidential
Suite that occupies one entire car.
Dining options include two fine dining restaurants-Mayuar
Mahal and the Rang Mahal -these
can seat 42 persons in each at a time, enabling everyone on board to dine
together. There is also a lounge called the Rajah Club with its own bar, the
Safari Bar and Treasure Chest - the gift shop.
The unique aspects of the train (the first of its kind in India), include a state-of-the-art
pneumatic and hydraulic suspension system, ensuring a smoother train ride,
not to mention passenger cabins that have micro processor based climatic
control. The Maharajas’ Express will be the First Pan-India luxury train that
cuts across state boundaries.
The Itineraries include the Celestial India Tour, the Classical India Tour,
The Princely India Tour (an eight-day itinerary that will follow the
Mumbai-Vadodara-Udaipur-Jhodhpur-Bikaner-Jaipur-Ranthambore-Agra-Delhi route)
and the Royal India Tour.
The cost per journey on the Princely India and Celestial India Tours begins
from US$ 6400 per person on twin-sharing basis, up to US $20000 in a
Presidential Suite.
The cost per journey on the Royal India and Classical India Tours begins from
US$ 5600 per person on twin-sharing basis, up to US $17500 in a Presidential
Suite.
JAMAICA
Glamour Destination Management’s
latest news includes their Community Initiative Partnership with a Mission.
Glamour DMC currently partners with local entities, such as
schools and churches, by assisting with excursions and offering mentorship programmes, as well as donating clothing and raising
funds for the West Haven Children’s Home, located in Hanover.
This is through a partnership with Definitive Caribbean - a UK-based
company. Glamour DMC also facilitates the donation of food, books,
wheelchairs and houses through ‘Food for the Poor’.
