Best Beach Cities by National Geographic Magazine July 30, 2010 - Tel Aviv has been rated one of the world's top ten beach cities by National Geographic Magazine, as part of their summer beach feature. Many exciting performances are planned at Masada, in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv. 2 June - Gala Opera Concert performed by the Soloists, Conductor and Orchestra of the Arena di Verona at the Sultan's Pool in Jerusalem 3 June - Verdi's Requiem performed by the Soloists, Conductor and Orchestra of the Arena di Verona at Masada 3 June - 30 concerts throughout the day within 10 churches in Jerusalem 4 June - Verdi's Opera "Aida" at Masada 5 June - Verdi's Opera "Aida" at Masada 6 June - Verdi's Opera "Jerusalem" at the Sultan's Pool in Jerusalem 8 June - Verdi's Opera "Aida" at Masada Two additional and very interesting events will also take place in Israel during the same period: 5, 6 and 7 June - Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal will perform in Tel Aviv as well as the ballets - "Les Chambres des Jacques", "Locked Up Laura" and "Zip Zam Zoom" 6 June - The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in Jerusalem Bruch's Violin Concerto and Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 "Pathetique", with Kurt Mazur conducting and the violinist Vadim Repin.   USA - BOSTON Summer is All Things Boston right now! All around, the city's bustling sounds of summer can be heard. Baseball season is in full swing as Red Sox Nation is alive and kicking! The city is host to travellers from all over and offers numerous attractions. Boston Common and the Public Gardens are in full bloom, the North End is bustling as always and the Fenway area is filled with baseball fanatics. It served as Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Presidential Yacht until his death in 1945. Along with Franklin D.
