Spoken
Most of you have probably followed the events in Egypt
over the last few weeks. During that time, internet & phone communication
was seriously disrupted. All Egyptians are back to work & businesses
& banks are back to the normal working hours. As for the political
crisis, the situation is still very complicated, but as a dialogue has
started between the government & all parties, everybody seems to be keen
to bring on change in an orderly & peaceful manner ...
All tourist sites are open, except the Cairo Museum
and the Coptic & Islamic Arts museums, which we understand might re-open
before the end of the month.
In Southern Sinai (St Catherine, Sharm el Sheikh, Daha, Nuweiba, Taba) business is as
usual.
Many European
countries have also softened their travel advisory to Egypt, with Club Med reopening all its clubs as of March 1st.
Barack Obama: We must educate our
children to become like young Egyptian people.
Britain's Prime Minister: We must consider teaching the Egyptian Revolution
in schools.
CNN: For the first time, we see
people make a revolution and then clean the streets afterwards.
Prime Minister of Italy: There is nothing new in Egypt.
Egyptians are making history as usual.
Prime Minister of Norway: Today we are all
Egyptians.
Austrian President Heinz Fischer:
The people of Egypt,
are the greatest people of earth; and they deserve a Nobel Prize for Peace
