General Information
Company
A pioneer in Destination Management Services in the Caribbean, Glamour was established in Jamaica over 20 years ago by a team of the island's most successful travel professionals.
Our corporate headquarters are in Montego Bay, Jamaica, but
our expertise is known throughout the Caribbean. Founded in 1987 by Chairman and Director Roy Anderson and Co-Director Myrtle Dwyer with the intent to provide the highest level of
ground services in the Caribbean, Glamour is your Destination Concierge and will provide you with innovative travel concepts across the region. Rachel Anderson, a graduate of economics
from Davidson College, North Carolina, U.S.A., joined in 2008 to
build on the great framework which her parents initiated.
Glamour began with the introduction of program planning for groups as well as providing luxury ground handling services for
their discriminating clients staying at Half Moon in Rose Hall, Jamaica. With the knowledge and success gained from that
venture, Glamour grew to own its own fleet of luxury vehicles and offers a wide range of services to international clients.

With a very predictable climate controlled by warm, breezy trade winds, the average year-round temperature is 82 degrees Farenheit. The Cayman Islands are blessed with wonderful weather for much of the year. The water temperature is equally pleasant, remaining at around 80 degrees Farenheit all year.

Dinner at Leisure
We recommend the following restaurant for the perfect off-site dinning experience.
The Wharf - located on the waterfront, The Wharf offers the choice of dining under the stars on their seaside patio or in the air-conditioned comfort of their verandah dining room. Cuisine consists of international and local dishes.
Hemmingway's - Here you can enjoy the freshest seafood, fished from the crystal-blue waters of Grand Cayman and more distant seas around the world. Coupled with intriguing Island specialties and a romantic beachfront setting, Hemingway’s guarantees that you’ll enjoy a dining experience to remember.
Luca - Luca is one of the newest restaurants to open on Seven Mile Beach. With uninterrupted, breathtaking views of the beach and the Caribbean Sea, the location is unrivalled. Luca is the brainchild of the highly successful team that brought us Ragazzi – one of the Island’s busiest and most popular eateries for the last eight years.
Prime - Is not your ordinary steakhouse. It is a new and exciting experience, centered around the Brazilian art of dining and located within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton & the Westin Casuarina Resort. The steakhouse features an impressive appetizer buffet. Dinners are presented with various cuts of meats by professional carvers. Prime offers an extensive wine selection of famous wines from all over the world. It consists of three separate dining rooms that can be separated for privacy or combined for one large dining experience. The restaurant has seating capacity for 200 people. Sleek and stylish, Luca oozes smart sophistication from the marble floors to the Venetian hand blown glass lights. Taking pride of place along the north wall of the high ceilinged room is Luca’s fabulous glass encased wine “cellar”, holding several thousand bottles, representing a choice of over 350 different varieties.
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Clients will have option for spa, golf, or off-site activities. We recommend the following off-site activities:-
1. Wave Runner Safari - Embark on an early afternoon guided Snorkel Safari aboard one of our wave runners. After a wet n’ wild ride along seven mile beach, the snorkelling begins. Our first snorkel stop is the famous Cemetery Reef. This is a shallow site in 15 feet of water, and some of the best underwater sea life can be found at this location. The second snorkel stop is Boggy Sand’s reef, where you will explore colorful reefs and meet friendly tropical fish. Then it’s back aboard your wave runner for the exhilarating ride back to seven mile beach and your next exciting snorkel adventure.
2. Atlantis Submarine - The Atlantis is the world’s first submarine designed specifically for underwater passenger excursions. The submarine features contour seating, comfortably accommodating 48 passengers, with a series of portholes on both sides of the vessel’s hull, providing excellent viewing. Even at 100 feet below sea level, the submarine remains at sea level pressure. This 45-50 minute tour gives passengers plenty of time to view the vast coral canyons of the National Marine Park. As the submarine passes through clear water, passengers closely view the diverse marine life that has made Grand Cayman so famous. The submarine’s automatic fish-feeders are engaged to attract fish to the area.

3. East Island Tour (Approximately five hours) - The tour travels through George Town, the Capital of Grand Cayman, and along residential South Sound Road. The tour continues past Caybrew Brewery to Pedro St. James Castle, the birthplace of democracy and the oldest stone building in the Cayman Islands. At Pedro St. James, guests can enjoy a multimedia theatre, take pictures and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the gardens. The tour continues through the district of Bodden Town, the first Capital of the Cayman Islands, where guests can view traditional Cayman-style homes. The tour then stops at The Queen Elizabeth Botanical Park, which was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on February 27th, 1994. This park features exotic and indigenous plant species, and endangered Cayman Blue Iguanas. The final stop is at the Caybrew brewery for as sample of our local beer.
4. Boatswains Beach - The park offers visitors a unique opportunity to swim and snorkel with fish and other marine life in its 1.3 million gallon salt water lagoon. Guest can also peer into a predator tank and some nose to nose with sharks and eels. For those less adventurous, wander through the beautiful free-flight bird aviary or stroll down an historic Caymanian street complete with porch side artisans. Children and adults alike will delight in interacting with starfish, urchins and crabs at the touch pool. As part of this emphasis on Cayman’s heritage, the historic Cayman Turtle Farm will make its Few home within Boatswain's Beach. The only one of its kind in the world, the Turtle Farm is home to over 14,000 green sea turtles, ranging in size from six ounces to six hundred pounds each. Visitors can tour an actual working farm, which is both educational and entertaining, and turtles are available for guests to hold for an amazing and unique photo opportunity. Groups of all sizes will enjoy the unique, interactive experience of Boatswain’s Beach, offering opportunity to meet a part of our world that so few ever experience.
5. Cayman Helicopter Rides - Get a full picture of Grand Cayman from above for a change! Let this pretty island unfold beneath you as the helicopter effortlessly lifts up into the sky over the coastline to the open sea. You don’t have to get your feet wet on this trip to see what Grand Cayman has to offer. Our pilot Jerome gives a running commentary on the tour you choose so you get the facts with the sights. You’ll be surprised to see how Georgetown turns in to “toy town” and the cruise ships in port take a “Lego-like” appearance. The beauty you can see from above is spectacular.
Evening - Dinner at Leisure.
Day 4 - Day at Leisure - Clients can elect to do spa, golf or off-site activities.
Evening - Final Night Gala / Award Ceremony at Grand Old House.
Suggested Theme - Red Spectacle - This striking theme is perfect for a gala awards dinner. Leaving behind the traditional black and gold, this event theme offers formality and elegance fused with a fresh, modern look. The entrance to the lawn will be lined with square white columns up lit from within the centre to give them soft red glows. Within the ballroom the rich red pops on the black linens.
Grand Old House
An enduring part of Cayman's history and heritage is Grand Old House on the waterfront. The strong and stately Caribbean Great House, dating back to 1908, has provided the setting for some of the island’s most refined and lavish balls and parties. Today, that tradition continues as Grand Old House is one of Cayman’s finest dining establishments, featuring European and New World cuisine, impeccably served in a setting of Old World style and elegance.
