Example Programme
WEEKEND IN DUBLIN
DAY 1
Personally welcomed to Dublin, you quickly exit the airport and depart with your guide to the heart of the city. As your bags go by separate transfer to be deposited in your room, you stop in a typical pub for a welcome drink where a musician or two may just wander in!
On to the hotel with key distribution on the coach and you will soon be in your comfortable bedroom. Later this evening get into the mood with a fine dinner and traditional entertainment in the famous Abbey Tavern.
.... and the night is still young!
DAY 2
Full breakfast at leisure. Depart south to Co. Wicklow and into the rolling hills and farmland. Along the way the driver surprisingly stops to pick up a hitch hiking farmer. Initially sitting quietly, he soon warms up the environment and breaks into song and mouth organ music to everyones enjoyment. Calling for his "stop" and thanking everybody he invites (with persuasion) everybody to his farmhouse for a cup of tea, or a drop of the hard stuff. Everybody follows into the farmyard to find a lavish buffet set up, country band, farm games and challenges. Enjoy lunch and entertainment in the countryside.
Return to Dublin late afternoon to rest and relax in your hotel.
Over dinner tonight the prizes are distributed from the Farmyard Challenge.
DAY 3
Breakfast at leisure.
Free morning to stop and stroll, but soon moving off to a local race track for a fine private lunch. Here we will introduce you to horse racing and an expert tipster will mark your cards.
You can test your judgement on the betting vouchers we give you and bravely move onto your own cash! Enjoy the afternoons racing and the freedom to move throughout the venue, always having your private suite to return to for afternoon tea and the bar.
