Kenya - A Journey into Africa
Kenya offers numerous programme permutations to suit every need of the most discerning client.
An excellent introduction to both safari and beach starts at Nairobi, where everyone can be kitted out with suitable attire, then proceed via Amboseli to West and East Tsavo where two or three nights on safari will introduce you to spectacular scenery and the wonder of seeing birds and animals in their natural habitat. The programme ends at Mombasa where the excitement of your safari can be complemented with the relaxing atmosphere of one its beautiful beach hotels.
For a more safari based programme we suggest the Masai Mara, one of the finest game-viewing areas in the world. This can also be combined with the coastal area by flying to Mombasa on your return to Nairobi.
Nairobi and Mombasa are also perfect conference destinations for those groups whose needs are more firmly based on their meeting requirements. Both cities have excellent conference hotels and in the few spare moments between business meetings offer excellent and interesting nearby attractions to visit. For those who are short of time a mini-safari can be arranged as an introduction to the delights of game-viewing and of course for those who choose Mombasa there is the additional benefit of beautiful beaches right on its doorstep.
No other destination can rival the variety of experiences that Kenya presents to all those that visit this majestic and beautiful country. Why not find out more about an experience of a life-time?

A selection of dry snacks is offered and a four-course sit down menu is served.
A blazing fire is lit and a troupe of magnificent Chuka drummers emerge from the bush. The throbbing of the drums and the unforgettable voices of African tribesmen fill the air. Later guests are returned to the Mt Kenya Safari Club after dinner by the Club transport.

GIRAFFE MANOR
Built in 1932 by Sir David Duncan, Giraffe Manor is situated on 120 acres of forested land just 8 miles from the city centre. In 1974, Jock Leslie Melville, grandson of a Scottish Earl, and Jock’s wife Betty, bought the house and founded the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW). They translocated 5 of the highly endangered Rothschild giraffe to their property. When Jock died, Betty decided to open her house, now called the Giraffe Manor to visitors.
Exclusive, spacious and elegant, it is the only place in the world where you can feed giraffe from your second floor bedroom window, over the lunch table and at the front door. Guests can feed the giraffes and warthogs that wander on the primeval grounds. Depending on the size of the group, dinner can be served either in the house or in the grounds under tents.
