General Information
Company
This year COLTUR Peru celebrates its 51th anniversary. Looking back through time, we notice how our company has witnessed the profound changes that both Peru and the world have undergone. But, in spite of those changes, we have stood by our values and principles, day by day trying to better serve our customers, suppliers, employees and community. And it is this effort that has resulted in COLTUR Peru being synonymous with innovation, quality and reliability.
Family owned since inception, COLTUR Peru is now in its third generation of management, and we strongly believe that our main strength lies in a team of 80 professionals (MEET OUR TEAM) with whom we share our passion for tourism and service orientation.
This website we want to share with you is a display of the very best that Peru offers: its rich cultural legacy, its geographical and ecological diversity, and a world-renowned gastronomy. Peru offers a unique mixture of options that enables travelers to make their dreams come true.
COLTUR Peru appreciates your support and trust. And it is that support and trust that make us work harder to offer our customers an outstanding service, where the latest technological developments go hand in hand with our professionalism and personal touch.
Destination
Located in the southern Peruvian highlands, Arequipa is Peru's second city in urban and economic development.
The Convent of Santa Catalina, opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years of cloistered religious life, is the most characteristic feature of the city, followed by the Sabandia Mill, the Founder's Mansion, the Main Square and - among other things - the beautiful countryside surrounded by snow capped mountains.
Colca Canyon, some 150 kilometers from the city, is one of the most beautiful sites in the Peruvian highlands. Enjoy the world's second deepest canyon after Cotahuasi canyon that is also in Peru, and visit the small towns and villages that maintain their ancestral customs even today, as well as beautiful Colonial homes, churches carved in white volcanic stone, the Valley of Dwarf Volcanoes, stone carvings, llamas, alpacas, condors, thermal baths, etc. A highly recommended and unique experience.
