LAND SAILING LAS VEGAS

This excursion is best planned for a mid-day departure in order to have the necessary winds to make the excursion fun and exciting. Transfer 45 minutes south of Las Vegas to a flat, dry lake bed to learn how to sail land yachts on the desert. Anyone can do this without prior sailing experience and virtually no one is physically unable to do it as well.

What is Included: Hotel pick-up and return; use of land sailing fleet by Blokart, including 3 and 4 meter high-performance sails; snacks, beverages; sailing gloves; extra sunscreen lotion; a mini-regatta event (based on conducive conditions) with prizes; and assistance with photo & video capture.

Typical Day: Welcome to Ivanpah Dry Lake! This is a California Wilderness Preserve and is open solely for non-motorized recreation. We stage the group on the eastern shoreline 2.5 miles South of the CA Lotto Store via the BLM access road (marked by a cattle guard and signs). The first 10 minutes covers the basics of sailing, then each participant is checked out one-on-one with the guide to cover the safety notes – and away they go! For large groups, participants are instructed to return after 30 minutes and trade off with other participants so that everyone gets ample time to enjoy speeding across the lake bed. Near the end of the second hour, we will poll the group to see who wants to join in for a mini-regatta; we will pair up participants (based on weight and ability) and determine how many heats – the winners from each heat will race in a final heat and win a Grand Prize. Wrap-up and bid farewell (or pack up for the trip back to Las Vegas) by end of the third hour.

Cost for 10 of fewer passengers (transportation included): Net $165.00 PP

For 11 or more passengers:

Add RT bus transfers, based on 5 hours: Net $650

Add for tour guide basis 5 hrs minimum service: Net $225

Once the event begins, the company reserves the right to stop sailing early due to its determination of inclement weather or Bureau of Land Management or National Weather Service-issued reasons, closures, or severe weather advisories. No Refunds in such case.

MACHINE GUN AND PISTOL SHOOTING

Estimated 1.5 - 2 hours maximum time. (A maximum of 10 passengers at one time can participate in this tour, but we can shuttle groups continuously throughout the day).

A transfer from the hotel would be included to take the group to the indoor gun range, close to The Strip hotels, and return to the hotel, as required.

Then the Basic Package includes:

· Passengers would receive a short classroom instruction on shooting safety and technique, and then they would step into the indoor range.

· Range-masters would monitor and assist each shooter and safety is foremost, always!

· Agentours has created a special package just for your group because it offers an excellent selection of pistols and rifles, with lots of shooting time. This would include .38 caliber revolver, and 9mm automatic pistols (using such guns as Smith & Wesson and Glock), with about 50 rounds with each gun, per person). Then each person would move on to a choice of fully-automatic sub-machine guns of the H&K MP5 or AK-47 variety, shooting two magazines of 30 bullets each.

If passengers want to pay for more rounds and shoot additional guns they can do so with their own money, and pay directly. They even have a belt-fed machine gun available, but these shoot so fast that it gets VERY expensive, VERY quickly, with each bullet costing $1. In no time at all, you could spend well over $100!
