BULGARIA

Usually the beginning of June is the start of the summer’s ancient festivities – the rituals cover almost the whole territory of South East Bulgaria and represent an ancient
pagan performance, involving barefoot dancing on live embers inherited by the Thracians* – bringing health, success and fertility throughout the year. It is a unique mixture
of Christian beliefs.

We will then transfer to the grand Palazzo Parisio, a beautiful palace, ideal for upmarket gala dinners where a welcome cocktail will be served.

We will then transfer to Razzett L-Abjad which is a typical Maltese farmhouse. Razzett L-Abjad is surrounded by a vineyard and orange grove and can cater for both indoor and outdoor functions.

Overnight at the Westin Dragonara Resort.

Saturday 20th June 2009

Saturday - Malta has been a popular film location for over 50 years, playing host to major productions on the scale of Troy and Gladiator, as well as TV series, documentaries and commercials. The unique cultural heritage, architectural legacy, natural locations, Mediterranean setting and ideal climate have contributed to a constantly developing film-servicing sector that is of considerable importance to the Maltese economy.

The day’s activity will be themed on the Movies and the guests will get to star in their own film. As part of the activity, the guests will visit Valletta and Malta’s sister island Gozo. While the activity in Valletta will be on foot, we will then fly out to Gozo and carry on the activity in various types of vehicles.

With this activity, we hope to give you an insight into the Maltese island’s culture and history as well as show you what they have to offer as a destination.

Lunch will be served by the seafront. After our relaxing lunch in the sun is over, we will drive back to the Mgarr Harbour and depart from Gozo by speedboat heading towards Comino.

Following a couple of exciting cave rides, we will stop for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon (weather permitting). Afterwards transfer back to the hotel for some time at leisure.

The evening will be spent cruising on a Turkish gullet. While we cruise, waiters will serve canapés and drinks while we relax onboard and enjoy the summer breeze.

Sunday 21st June 2009

Sunday

Meet in the hotel lobby for check out. Luggage to be left with the concierge and stored in the luggage room of the hotel.

This morning will be spent participating in a CSR activity; details of which will be left as a surprise until nearer the time.
