Borealis was founded in 2002, in the immediate afterglow of 9/11.
It shows that we want to be different and dare to row against the stream.
We only work tailor-made and for groups and companies by using only handpicked suppliers and destinations.
Borealis is winner of two Site Crystal Awards for the organization of ‘Best Incentive in the World’ (2006 & 2012), Belgium’s only double Site Crystal Award Winner.
Why choose us?
Our work. Our passion.
Motivational experiences, delivered.
Never heard of a country with an extremely central location, white beaches, 3 official languages, the world’s densest highway system, more than 1000 kinds of beer, the best chocolate in the world, medieval towns and 21st-century ports, the most beautiful racetrack on the planet, state-of-the-art conference centres, a place where comic books are the most read books, where diamond-cutting was invented, where the heart of the first World War was “In Flanders Fields” and above all: a country with warm-hearted and welcoming happy people? You may have guessed it by now: Belgium is the place!
Visiting Belgium or staying in Belgium is always a joy. Small in size, but so big in “joie de vivre”. Being small has its advantages. Distances between sights and cities are short (so very affordable) and there is a discovery behind every corner…
There is an imaginary line in the middle. On one side Flemish is spoken (Flanders), on the other side French is spoken (Wallonia) and in the middle is the international multi-cultural and diverse melting pot of Brussels. And we should not forget the tiny German speaking community close to the German border. Belgium is a real multicolored patchwork.
Where would the world be without Belgium? Did you know that the Big Bang theory, bakelite (predecessor of plastics), road asphalt, the BMI (Body Mass Index), the saxophone, the electric railway systems, the PC, the internet, the combustion engine, inline skates, the atlas and windmills were all invented in Belgium or by Belgians?
Many can’t sum up 3 famous Belgians, but what about Audrey Hepburn, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Toots Thielemans, Jacques Brel, Dr. Paul Janssens, Father Damien, Paul Henry Spaak (first chairman of EEC), Hercule Poirot, Eddy Merckx, Pieter-Paul Rubens, René Magritte, Django Reinhardt, Dries Van Noten, Walter Van Beirendonck, Jacky Ickx, Gerardus Mercator (inventor of the atlas), Adrien de Gerlache (first scientist in Antartica), Simon Stevin (inventor of modern mathematics), The Smurfs, and not to be forgotten : Tintin.
Come and taste our culinary delights like beers, wines and cheeses. Wander through many historic sites and enjoy the numerous cultural happenings. Discover the Flemish Primitives and the carnaval parades. Enjoy the sounds, the colours and the aromas of a small and unknown, yet unbelievably impressive country which is situated only hours from Paris, London and Amsterdam.
Come and be surprised. You will go back with ever-lasting memories.
